Dharamkot: For hiking enthusiasts, Dharamkot is an amazing attraction. The tranquil and calm attraction is located at a distance of 11 kilometers from the main town. The beautiful view of Kangra valley and Dauladhar ranges makes it look wonderful. Here you can visit the Tushita Meditation Centre. Here people can study and practice Buddhism following the Tibetan Mahayana tradition.

Dal Lake: It is a serene attraction which is located around 11 kms away from Dharamsala. This alluring spot is on an altitude of 1,775m above sea level. One of the most beautiful lakes in the country, Dal Lake has a small temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

TIPA: The Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts is very close to Mcleod Ganj. It takes approximately 15 minutes to reach there from Mcleod Ganj. The main purpose of TIPA is to preserve the Lhamo- which is a cultural tradition of Tibet. It includes music, dance and folk theater. Here you can check out live performances of Tibetan Operas. If there are no performances lined up, you can check out the students rehearsing in the court yard.
